Full Sail originated in Gulfport Mississippi but the band relocated to Jackson, Ms after Hurricane Katrina.

Walt Lucas began performing professionally at the age of fifteen. He eventually sailed into Panama City Beach, Florida in the mid 70's with his band "Crimson Sky". There they made a name for themselves at Schooners Last Local Beach Club, Spinnakers, and other local beach clubs while refining their sounds of Jimmy Buffett, Crosby - Stills - Nash, Eagles, Beatles, and Dan Fogelberg, as well as his own original music.

Walt formed "Full Sail" and teamed up with James Ducker.in 1995. Walt plays guitar, bass, and sings lead and background vocals.

James Ducker hails from Laurel, Mississippi. Starting with his Classic Rock and Country Rock bands throughout high school and college, James became recognized for his Dan Fogelberg style voice. A profound writer, producer, and arranger, James also owns Cedarwood Studios in Laurel, Mississippi where he produces artist from Gospel to Country to Rock. James plays guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums as well as lead and background vocals.

Also, a passionate pilot, you'll find James on days off in his beloved Beechcraft.
